Corporate - comedy or crime?

Far away, in some corner of the world, there is a company which is too worried about the corporate image and wants to insist many policies on the employees and project a very good face to clients. One such initiative is wearing shoes and formal wear all the time. Personally, I may not advocate to the idea, but can let it go as any company can have it own policies. But, forcing the policy on employees who work in EST hours from India (630pm to 330am IST) is going a bit overboard and infact I even heard someone say that its inhuman. On the other hand, one of the friends was extremely delighted that he was not asked to wear shoes while sleeping at home.

To project a decent work culture and corporate image, men are asked to wear formals and shoes to work, irrespective of the timings while the women project that corporate image through sleeveless tops.
