Ridiculous movie

Yes, we have done it at last. But, it was definitely not worth it. Literally, we were there for the very last show of Sivaji at AVM Rajeswari yesternight. Even if I had watched it in the first week, I wouldn't have bothered to come out with my version of the review as the movie doesn't deserve one. It was a huge disappointment from Shankar & Rajini - making huge profits is different. Infact, I would attribute the profits to the hype.

Shankar should have stuck to his style or resorted to Rajini-style. Instead he has tried to blend both or has tried not to make it in the Rajini-way and in the process has failed to follow his way too. The result is gimcrack. Rajini, inspite of all the efforts, is losing his charm and the worst part is his dialogue delivery in this movie which didn't have the usual flavour or vigour at all. To me, it was a real letdown.

Just couldn't digest that this is a Shankar-Rajini movie, but the songs deserve a positive mention, thanks to Shankar, Thotta Tharani & AR Rahman.
