You would have, by this time, heard a lot about the Magnum Opus Dasavathaaram. Though Kamal's brilliance is showcased yet again in a lot of ways, one thing he has missed out on this movie is getting a Rahman or Ilayaraja to score the music. Yes, the storyline isn't strong enough, but Kamal makes it up in ways more than many. Not many understand Kamal's abilities and are very happy to point fingers at him. The ten different avatars, he has donned, are classy atleast in terms of the differences he has been able to render to those roles. The body language, the dialgoue delivery, the slangs - all these make you feel as if you are watching 10 different people. Not once, you feel its the same person doing it. The movie definitely rocks and Kamal saved everything for the final punch when he utters that he doesn't say that God doesn't exist, but it would be nicer if he existed. But, he could have avoided the love exchanges amidst deadbodies. Whatever, don't waste time reading reviews - just don't miss the movie on the big screen, especially the first 20 mins. You may not get to see such a movie for a long time to come.

கிழவனான நாகேஸ் வத வத பிள்ளைகள். ஜனத்தொகை பெருகி வரும் நிலையிலும் புத்திகெட்ட இனத்தின் செயல்பாடுகளையும் ஆங்காங்கே காட்டியுள்ளார்.
காலி புல்லா நன்றியுள்ளவர் போல், நல்லவர் போல் காட்டப்பட்டாலும், அடிப்படையில் மடயன் மாதிரி காட்டிவிட்டார்.
காலிபுல்லா பாத்திரமும், சீனாக்காரர் பாத்திரமும் அவசியமே இல்லாதவைகள்.
அமெரிக்காவில் விஞ்ஞானி என்றாலும், அங்கேயும் திருட்டுக் கும்மளாக இந்தியர்களே இருப்பதை இப்படம் தெளிவாக்கியுள்ளது. பணத்திற்காக எதையும் செய்பவன் இந்தியன் என்பதை இப்படம் காட்டியுள்ளது. தீவிரவாதியுடன் என்றாலும் கைக்கோர்த்துக்கொள்ளும் இந்திய அடிப்படைக் கொள்கையையும் காட்டுகிறது.
ஆனால் வெறுமனே இந்தியாவில் காண்போரையெல்லாம் தீவிரவாதி தீவிரவாதி எனும் பைத்தியக்காரத்தனத்தையும் இப்படம் வெளிப்படுத்துகிறது.
அது அமெரிக்க CIA என்றாலும் சரி, விஞ்ஞான கமல் என்றாலும் சரி, முஸ்லீம் கமல் என்றாலும் சரி, எல்லோரையும் நாயுடு தீவிரவாதி தீவிரவாதி என்று எந்த ஆய்வும் இன்றி மனம் போனபோக்கில் கூறும் இந்தியாவின் அடிப்பட்ட மடமையையும் இந்த படம் காட்டியுள்ளது.
எப்படியோ கமல் சில இடங்களில் சில வற்றை மறைமுகமாக சொல்லியுள்ளார்.

I ended up here blog hopping.. Nice review.. I really thought AR Rahman music would have taken the movie to a new level !! Should have been financial constraints..
It was a great movie considering the complexity of the plot, especially the chaos theory concept is very well handled..
